Maritime Rules Part 40F
Current version of Part 40F
This rule is made up of:
- Section 1, which applies to:
- hovercraft defined as those carrying more than 12 persons or more than 1000 kgs payload
- Section 2, which applies to:
- smaller craft carrying 12 persons or less and not more than 1000 kgs payload.
Part 40F is divided into two sections.
Section 1 deals with larger hovercraft defined as those carrying more than 12 persons or more than 1000 kgs payload. Generally the requirements for these craft will be the relevant international or national standards incorporated by reference.
Section 2 deals with smaller craft carrying 12 persons or less and not more than 1000 kgs payload.
