Current seafarer certification fees 

  • These fees are effective from 1 July 2019.
  • All amounts are in New Zealand dollars and include goods and services tax (GST).

Paying your fees 

Maritime NZ has digitised the application and renewal of most seafarer certificates. You must pay the fee for your certificate or endorsement when you submit your online application form.  

You can pay by: 

  • Credit or debit card 

  • Bank-to-bank transfer
