- It is important to understand your sea service requirements and have the right evidence of sea service ready to include with your application.
- You should also be familiar with operating limits and how they apply to your certificate, as well as any ancillary certificates of proficiency that may be required.
- Before you apply, check the certification fees and charges so you know what to expect.
- All applicants must also meet the medical and eyesight requirements for their role at sea.
