Memoranda of understanding (MOUs)

Maritime NZ may formalise relationships with other government agencies through written agreements, such as memoranda of understanding (MOUs).

MOUs clarify the roles and responsibilities of each party and set out how they will cooperate and co‑ordinate regulatory activities, for example in workplace health and safety and energy safety.

This page provides access to some of Maritime NZ’s recent MOUs, released with the permission of the other parties. We will update this page as we develop new agreements and renew existing ones.
