Replacement Certificate of Registry

If your Part A certificate of registry has been lost, mislaid or destroyed, you can apply for a replacement certificate.

What you need to do

To get a replacement certificate, you must: 

  • complete the Application for new certificate of registry / certificate of registration (form SR26) 

  • send your completed application to Maritime NZ by email, courier, or post. 

The fee for a replacement certificate of registry is NZ$245. After your application is received, you will be invoiced by Maritime NZ, with information also provided about how to pay.
