Maritime Rules Part 90 - Pilotage
Current version of Part 90
This rule applies to:
- all ships within New Zealand waters except warships.
Maritime Rules Part 90 specifies compulsory pilotage areas and thresholds for pilotage. It also covers qualifications and training for pilots and pilotage exempt masters, and the issue of pilot licenses and masters’ pilotage exemption certificates (PECs) by the Director of Maritime NZ.
