Marine Protection Rules Part 101B - Surveys and Inspections – noxious liquid substances carried in bulk
Current version of Part 101B
This rule applies to:
- tankers carrying noxious liquid substances in bulk
- New Zealand ships and to warships and other ships of the New Zealand Defence Force.
Part 101B contains requirements for initial and periodic surveys of tankers carrying noxious liquid substances in bulk to verify compliance with the construction and equipment requirements set out in Part 141.
Part 101B gives effect to Regulation 8 of Annex II of MARPOL 73/78.
