Maritime Rules Amendments 2025 (No 2) amended this Part. These amendments come into force on 1 December 2025.
Part 20 defines the different operating limits. This sets the standards that are applied to commercial ships, their equipment, and the qualifications and number of persons crewing those ships.
Specified operating limits graduate from enclosed waters through inshore, coastal and offshore waters to unlimited operation.
