Marine Protection Rules Part 101A - Surveys and Inspections – Oil
Current version of Part 101A
This rule applies to:
- New Zealand oil tankers of 150 gross tonnage or more
- ships of 400 tons gross tonage or more
- warships and other ships of the New Zealand Defence Force.
Part 101A contains requirements for initial and periodic surveys of New Zealand oil tankers of 150 tons gross tonnage or more, and other ships of 400 tons gross tonnage or more, to verify compliance with the construction and equipment requirements set out in Parts 121A, 121B and 122.Part 101A gives effect to Regulation 6 of Annex I of MARPOL 73/78.
